| I will have to get one in first to ultimately determine how to mount in the up and down position--I'm just looking for preliminary heigth/width dimension for the core. I would prefer the sidemount location but the reality is there is not a smic that will flow enough or be efficient enough for my application. That being said, there are aftermarket fmic that are worse than good smic (eg. Apollo). A properly designed fmic with good ducting toward radiator and proper ventilation behind radiator i hope will give sufficient ic flow/efficiency as well as sufficient cooling capacity for the rad. I know I'm not the first one to work under this "logic" and I'm sure I won't be the last one to try.
